  • Ensure all staff are aware of this Policy as part of the Office Manual.
  • To continue to highlight, through the Staff Induction programme, our commitment to equality and diversity and that if discrimination occurs, immediate action that will be taken.

  • We will meet all statutory obligations under relevant legislation and, where appropriate, anticipate future legal requirements. In addition we will try to fulfil the Codes of Practice issued by the Equal Opportunities Commission and the Commission for Racial Equality, together with the Codes of Practice on Disability and Age Diversity.
  • Equality and diversity in the workplace not only allows fairness for all, it also makes good business sense, allowing the most able and talented people to help our business succeed.

  • 50-50 recruitment policy for men and women, we aim for a balanced work environment. This policy aims to affirm our determination to provide equality and fairness for all in our employment and not to discriminate on grounds of gender, marital status, race, ethnic origin, colour, nationality, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, religion or age. We strongly oppose all forms of unlawful and unfair discrimination.
  • All employees, whether part-time, full-time or temporary, will be treated fairly and with respect. Selection for employment, promotion, training or any other benefit will be on the basis of aptitude and ability. All employees will be helped and encouraged to develop to their full potential and the talents and resources of the team will be fully utilised to maximise the efficiency of the organisation. Both the individual and the collaborative success of the team will be celebrated.
  • We tend to recruit as required – we have formal graduate training schemes and are tied to set methods of recruitment and fixed recruitment program, so vacancies may occur at any time of year.
  • Interviews are likely to be informal as we take each candidate separate on a more one to one basis. so you will need to make sure that you bring out your strongest selling points and ask lots of questions
  • We give graduates from diverse backgrounds and disciplines the iconic projects, the questioning culture, access to top talent and a programme as carefully designed as our projects. You choose the direction.

Training and development plans and Investors In People

  • Staff are most effective when properly trained and when they are involved in their own self development.
  • Managing training programs for the staff in monthly basis to keep them updated with the technology
  • Training and development plans for staff, dovetailing staff and company aims. Continuous updating ensures that personal goals are met and the company makes best use of the employee as a resource.

Working with community

  • We seek to work in partnership with communities, councils and other partners over the complete life of a project.
  • We believe that this investment should contribute to the economic and social sustainability of communities. As a company, we share the view that community benefit should, at least in part, be used to help communities and regions within the UK better engage with, and benefit from, the low carbon economy. We believe that this is vital if UK is to secure its fair share of the economic benefits from the growth in renewable energy and other low carbon initiatives.
  • We engage with our local community, especially those in education to promote awareness of construction, the 'physical world' and creating positive sustainable working environments.
  • We share our expertise with our local community by participating in relevant bodies and organizations that shape our physical environment to build sustainable communities, such as Expert Design Panels and Conservation Advisory panels for local authorities.

Structure

Minimal management is a wholly independent organization owned in trust for the benefit of its employees and their dependents. With no shareholders or external investors the firm is able to independently determine its own priorities and direction as a business.

Leadership

Minimal Management’s policy is set by the 5 partners. We as partners will like to take over the work in our hand instead of hiring people to do that for us. In future after an expansion we would include more helping hands to our company.
